Where do you deliver to?

We delivery fully nationwide. Sunday we deliver to the following counties: Dublin, Wicklow, Kildare, Meath, Louth, Kilkenny, Carlow, Laois, Offaly, Westmeath, Tipperary, Waterford, Wexford. We also deliver to Cork city, Galway city, and Limerick city as well as surrounding areas.

Tuesday we deliver to the entire country including Northern Ireland. On our menu page, click the county/city you live in before selecting your meals. Here, you will see the available day for your delivery. Email us for assistance at help@parallelmeals.ie if not sure on available days.

How do I get started?

It's very simple. Select your meals that you would like to get delivered to your door, then at checkout, enter your email address to setup your account. We will also ask for your address and phone number here as they are required by our delivery partners so we can get the meals delivered to your door!

Is your model a subscription?

Accepted Answer

Yes it is. However it is a fully flexible subscription meaning you can order, pause or cancel any time that suits you. You can jump in and out as you like as we understand you don't always need food every week. NOTE: We do assume any active account at checkout wants food for the week ahead so if your account is active at cut off we will send you a mix based on your preferences (i.e. a similar selection of meal types and portions sizes to the same € value as the prior weeks order). We will send email and text reminders prior to every cut off on a Thursday so you will always be reminded to order or pause.

When is the cut off?

6pm Thursday is our order cut off for the following week delivery (whether it is Sunday or Tuesday). This allows our team the time required to order from suppliers, prepare your tasty fresh meals and get them delivered.

Does your menu change?

Yes. We keep it fresh with a brand-new menu each week, so you don't get bored of the same food week in week out!

What delivery days are available?

We deliver to homes on Sunday and Tuesday each week. When selecting your meals, you can select your county for delivery first and this will dictate the available delivery day for you.

How long does the food last for?

You only need to order once from us to have food in the fridge for the full week ahead! Our food is all cooked fresh and sealed in the highest quality packaging available as freshness and taste remain our number one priority. We have at least 6 days shelf life on our food with majority being seven or more. You can freeze most meals (except salads and some breakfasts) for up to 3 months. Check the date on receiving your delivery as some meals might have a use by date slightly before others and we don't want them to go to waste and you miss out on eating any of them! The only reason we would shorten the date is to make sure the taste remains to the standard we want!

Is there a minimum order quantity?

Delivery: There is a minimum order value of €44.75 ex delivery.

What is the cost of delivery?

Dublin delivery: €6.75 Outside Dublin delivery: €8.75

We deliver our food in insulated bags for all of our Dublin deliveries and insulated boxes outside of Dublin. They all contain ice packs to maintain the temperature of the food before you receive it and pop it in the fridge. Collection: If you want to order for collection email us at help@parallelmeals.ie and we will arrange a collection time.

Can you deliver to my workplace if midweek delivery?

Simply, yes. Just have that as your delivery address and we will turn up with it!

Question 11

Do I need to be in to accept the delivery?

Accepted Answer

No, you do not. Just leave a note in 'Add delivery notes' at the checkout page so that our delivery partners know where to leave the food safely for you. If we need access codes, please be sure to let us know so that we can gain access (apartments, office, gated estate etc). The food is all packaged in fully closed insulated bags/boxes so leaving in a safe place can work if your ETA does not suit on the delivery day.

Is the packaging recyclable?

Yes, it is. The trays we use are made with 100% recycled plastic and can be recycled. They are suitable for oven and microwave use. Whether you receive a box or a bag, it is all reusable so please ensure to give it back to the driver on your next delivery. This helps us reduce waste even further.

If I need to cancel my order, how do I do this?

You can cancel your order by pausing or cancelling your account before Thursday 6pm cut off or emailing us at help@parallelmeals.ie by 6pm on Thursday so we can cancel on your behalf. If after cut off and you cancel, our team will have started the work, ordering from suppliers, preparing the meals, packaging them and so it is exceedingly difficult to stop the order after the cut off. The more notice the better!

When is payment taken?

Payments are processed immediately on your first order and then the following Thursday after order cut off when the account renews. If you order for the first time, please leave the account active until after the cut off on Thursday at 6pm so that we are able to process the meal selection.

How will I remember to order or pause each week?

Accepted Answer

We send email and text reminders to everyone prior to cut off on a Thursday afternoon to either select meals, pause or we will auto select for you if the account remains active and no selections are made. We cover all basis, so you do not miss out one way or the other!
